Focus on foreign students
How do you find tenants for your accommodation?
Your tenant decided to terminate your rental contract. You renovate your apartment. You take nice pictures. You publish them on Idealista and Fotocasa. Just hoping that you will find a tenant soon.
Finding tenants is not that easy. Competition is high. Every day you compete with thousands of other landlords to find the right tenant.
If you look at Idealista, in April 2015 there were about: 24.000 houses for rent 76.000 houses for sale in the Comunidad de Madrid.
At the same time in Fotocasa there were about: 11.000 houses for rent and 35.000 houses for sale in the Comunidad de Madrid.
If you promote your apartment on Idealista or Fotocasa you mainly focus on the Spanish tenant.
Is there another option, you are now asking? Another option available to you is to focus on foreign tenants.
Every year thousands of foreign students, MBA students, trainees and foreign employees are looking for accommodation in Spain. In Barcelona. In Madrid. This may be because they are going to study. Do an intercambio. Follow a MBA for one year. Expand their knowledge as an intern. Or get international work experience.
They are looking for accommodation!! Preferably accommodation that is close to their university, school or work. They need furnished apartments, because they are only in Spain temporarily. They don´t need anything too big or expensive.
I think it´s a great idea to focus on this group. So, do you have an apartment available and are you open for this new opportunity, then please let us know. Simply contact us by contacting us. So that we can see if we can help to find the right tenant for you.
Yes, foreign tenants sounds as a great idea.
