Where do you open a bank account without a NIE?
I read this question recently on social media. Does anyone know how you can open a Spanish bank account quickly if you still have no NIE? I must open one this week. What can I do?Please note that a EU citizen asked this question. So this article doesn't apply to non-EU citizens.
If you still haven't a NIE, you can open a non-resident bank account. Several banks offer this possibility. Just go to the closest bank in your neighborhood.

Bring your passport, employment contract, your latest salaryslips and perhaps also a copy of an invoice of for example gas, water, electricity to prove where you live.
